ESOC Precise (SLR+DORIS) vs. CNES Precise Orbit Comparison
The CNES precise orbit used in this comparison is the final precise orbit for Envisat which
is used on the GDR Altimeter product. These orbits are generated by CNES
with a latency of 6-9 weeks. The radial accuracy of this orbit is around 3 cm see
orbit comparison campaign.
The following plot shows the along-track, cross-track and radial components of
the comparison between the CNES precise orbit and the ESOC precise orbit.
